Uriol assures that you have to take advantage of the fact that bread is satiating and that it is healthy to lose those excess kilos. The key is to lose weight by eating everything, that is, choosing a good bread and a healthy filling that is fat-free, nutritious and with the right amount of protein for a sandwich.
You also have to be aware of the length of the sandwich, as it should not be more than 15 centimeters long. Also, added sugars are prohibited and you have to be careful with dairy.
Foods allowed in this regimen
The foods allowed and that can be taken without restriction are: lettuce, tomato, onion, carrot, cucumber, chives, pickles, asparagus, leeks, celery, palm hearts, radishes, mushrooms, mushrooms, capers, garlic, peppers, endives, light drinks and zero, salt, vinegars, lemon, pepper, spices, paprika, jalapeños, chillies, garlic, parsley, soy sauce, mustard, sweeteners, coffee, tea and infusions, collect 'Yo Dona'.
The fruit should be taken whole to take advantage of the fiber and you have to drink four glasses of water at each meal and two liters a day in total.
A turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato is not the same as one of pork sausage. Therefore, not everything goes in this regime. Some of the foods that should not be eaten are: all sausages (except turkey and Serrano ham), cheeses, white bread (wholemeal and rye are much better), sugars and sweets and, obviously, alcohol.
A sandwich a day
Although this diet has many versions, the normal one is to eat a healthy snack and then have a light and smart dinner. Some of the options for the last meal of the day are:
• Boiled eggs with tuna and roasted peppers.
• Salad and fish.
• Spinach with egg.
• Chicken or turkey breast with salad or vegetables.
• Cream of zucchini.
